2. APPROACH 

Try to find a place where you can talk with your potential BUDDY one-on-one without the risk of interruption. For example, try to talk outside of any home or space they share with their abuser. This can help ensure the abuser doesn’t overhear your concerns, which could make the situation worse.

3. Start a conversation about WORKBUDDYCHECK by expressing concern. It can be helpful to begin the conversation by gently explaining why you would like to BUDDY UP. Be understanding and sensitive yet specific, and explain to them what you have noticed that has caused your concern without being accusatory.

4. SET GOALS - Print out the WORKBUDDYCHECK AGREEMENT (TO DESIGN WITH MEL AND ZOZO - fill in the form as a talking point and start place to share with your BUDDY. Together, you will complete your ‘social contract’ at a time and place that suits you both.

5. GET STARTED complete your WORKBUDDYCHECK Agreement together and CHECK-IN!
